Do you enjoy challenges? Do you want to be part of the team of volunteers that lights up the skies over Airdrie every December? Do you want to be a leader who helps thousands of families and children enjoy a brighter holiday season?

Become a Director of the Airdrie Festival of Lights Society, the independent non-profit group that puts on one of Canada’s biggest holiday light shows. As an non-profit association, we depend entirely on volunteer Directors to keep glowing and keep growing.

No qualifications are necessary, except a desire to contribute as a key volunteer. We especially welcome volunteers with an interest or expertise in fields such as project management, marketing, human resources, and electrical logistics.

You can put in as few or as many hours as you wish; you also have many choices about where and when you contribute your time and efforts.

Experience the glow, as you walk through a wintry world of twinkling holiday lights... Taste and feel the glow as you sip on a cup of hot chocolate while standing beside a roaring fire... Watch the glow as children and adults gleefully ride the miniature trains around a frozen pond!

Every December, Nose Creek Park in Airdrie comes alive with the glow of Alberta's most exciting holiday light event. You don't just drive or
walk past our lights, you experience them in your heart as you walk under festively-lit arches, stroll past the brilliant light displays, and watch in rapture as animated displays come brightly to life.

From December 1st through December 31st, you, your family, and friends will build lasting memories when you ride our miniature trains past the light displays, join the happy strolling crowds, and hear the sounds of happy people all around you.

Join us at the Vesta Airdrie Festival of Lights, where the sights and sounds of the festive season combine to ignite the glow!

We're open from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. every evening from December 1st through December 31st, including Christmas Eve,Christmas Day, and New Year's Eve.
